Melissa Rach is co-founder of Dialog Studios—a consultancy devoted to solving messy content problems. You can also find her writing a regular column for Contents magazine.
Melissa has been working as a communications and content specialist for nearly 20 years, including four years as vice president of content strategy at Brain Traffic. Although she's worked on all types of enterprise content projects, online content is "secretly" her favorite.
Hailed as a leader in creating content strategy methodologies, Melissa has developed some of the discipline's key tools and processes, including Brain Traffic's content strategy quad—which is widely used by content strategists everywhere to explain their craft. Her methodologies have been taught at universities nationwide and recognized in books and blogs throughout her career.
Melissa holds degrees in journalism and archaeology from the University of Wisconsin—and she uses both of them as a content strategist. She lives in Minneapolis, MN with her family and names her pets after punctuation marks.
